A Little About Savanna
Savanna's love affair with dogs began at a very young age, so young, in fact, that her family nicknamed her "The Doggie Lama," due to her ability to communicate with animals. Her confidence and ability led to her first appearance in the dog show ring at the tender age of 2, taking home a large rosette for presenting the Best Puppy In Show.
Savanna hails from a multi-generational dog show family, so she definitely understands not only about the proper care and welfare of dogs, but has also learned the intricacies of grooming many different breeds, to present them in the best possible way. Prior to opening her own grooming salon, Savanna also apprenticed and worked for several world-acclaimed professional handlers and groomers, learning different grooming techniques and presentation standards.
Savanna has shown and bred a number of Best in Show winners, in multiple breeds, including those that are multiple group winners, Best in Specialty winners and Futurity winners. The American Kennel Club has recognized her in their "Breeder Of Merit" program. She applies her dedication to perfecting the standard to her desire to ensure every one of her groom clients has a "Best In Show" look...and does it all with a personal touch!
